Lui Che Woo College held its 4th High Table Dinner on 21st April 2016 successfully. We were honored to have Prof. Lionel M. Ni as our distinguished guest and keynote speaker.  Prof. Lionel M. Ni has assumed office as the Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) of the University of Macau from January 2015. A world-renowned computer scientist, he is also Chair Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science.

The dinner was kicked off by an opening remarks from College Master, Prof. Yip. He expressed his best wish to graduating students and presented a college souvenir to each of them. Our guest speaker – Prof. Lionel M. Ni gave an inspiring speech on the topic of “4 Years of University Education:What should you learn, and why ? “. His presentation examines the development of career-major relations by combining his personal experience and UMAC “4 in 1” educational model with developments in the areas of education, career and personal development.

A series of exceptional performances were prepared by the college students. Prof. Yip (College Master of LCWC), together with college students, offered a musical performance which highlighted the atmosphere of the event.

College Master proposed a toast to the students

 

When the dinner almost came to an end, the College Master and Associate Master and the college staff proposed a toast to the students for expressing thankfulness and best wish to their studies. After the dinner, a lot of students took photos with the guests and their fellow college students in the dining hall, which gave the dinner a wonderful and warming ending.
